澳大利亚中小学教育制度简介

 

学校类型
澳洲与中国教育模式以及体系存在着差异。澳洲学校一般分为：

• 公立学校Public School
• 私立学校Private School/ Independent School
• 教会学校Catholic School

学制澳洲学校的基础教育是12年学制，其中1-10年级是义务教育。

• 一到六年级为小学
• 七到十二年级是中学
• 七到十年级为初中部（相当于中国的初一到高一）
• 十一到十二年级为高中部（相当于中国的高二到高三）

（以维州为例，十一到十二年级为VCE year，类似于国内高二之后分文理班开始备战高考）在澳洲，中小学年分为四个学期，每学期不到三个月。通常的开学时间是在：1 月份，4 月份， 7 月份，10 月份。而且每学期之间都有几个星期的假期，年底的假期最长，长达一个多月。

从上图不难看出，澳洲的学制和中国大体类似。只是在中国，初中和高中被划分开来。而在澳洲，中学阶段的教育一般就是7年级到12年级整个阶段，中间没有类似中国中考这样额外的升学考试。
学生签证要求申请人要求必须满6岁以上。一般来说，学生签证的最长期限是五年，但小学适龄学生一般签证期限最长为两年。申请中小学学生签必须满足以下的年龄要求：

• 递交签证申请时至少满6岁
• 开始中学9年级时小于17岁
• 开始中学10年级时小于18岁
• 开始中学11年级时小于19岁
• 开始中学12年级时小于20岁
   

学费国际生和澳洲本地生在学费收费上都是不一样的。国际留学生：
无论申请公立学校还是私立学校均需要缴纳学费，一般来讲公立学校学费会比私立学学校优惠很大一部分。澳洲公民&永居：
就读公立学校不需要缴纳学费，私立学校即使是澳洲公民和PR就读同样需要缴纳费用。具体可以根据学校的官网进行查询。
