什么是“开光”?
开光是佛教的一种宗教仪式，他的核心内容是“迎请安住”。表示将法界智慧圣尊，迎请入佛像、灵塔、佛经等物品之中，形成与法界无二无别的结合物。
在此同时，开光的仪式也在于提醒信众要常常开启自性本具的光明。开启一切众生本有的智慧光明，是开我们自己的光，而不是给佛像开光。佛像开光只是表象，而真正的光明是自性之光。光明开启了，就可以驱走无明黑暗，这才是开光真正的含义。
